March 27, 2015 Home Depot

We will be picking up more items from Home Depot the first week in April, but we did a small pick up last night.

Still have from last time:

78" x 32" storm door

Large roll of vinyl for floor  (might be useful in a basement?)

40 watt light bulbs

Chandelier

4 of solid wood 30"x 80" exterior doors - something like below, but has the framing and 2 holes for locks.  We think that they must have been a special order.  Very nice - and very heavy.  3 right and 1 left swing.

Very cool  Red Devil snap n seal window insulation kits - various sizes and we have several:
sizes: 24"x36"; 38"x60"; 42"x64";  After this past winter, we could all use some extra insulation.

Remember, if you send a "needs list" it will be the first destination when we pick up from our stores.  I always check that, call the person and they get first priority.  So send your list in.

Also, our membership dues are due June 1st.  Some of you have sent in donations and we really appreciate this.  No one gets paid, it is an all volunteer project.  But we have annual expenses which amount to a little over $2,000, $1,250 of which is the memberships to Home Depot and the two Pottery Barns.  The drivers tend to buy the gas.  There are van expenses - maintenance, insurance, and registration.

Thank you all for your help in keeping this project going.  If you know of any friends and neighbors who could benefit, please pass on our information.

We will have a front loading, second hand, but in great shape, washer available next month.  Ask about and lets try to place it.

Warm regards to you all,

Mary and Liz and Scott (our wonderful driver who is always there to pick up at Home Depot where most items are very heavy!)
